every personality type is especially good at a particular set of skills, and it’s wise to spend some time figuring out what those particular skills are for you. they are healers and helpers with a vision for the good of others. another benefit and draw for infjs is that you get an opportunity to exercise your expertise and deep understanding in the service of others without having to worry about being interrupted. but sharing what i’m learning and what i’ve spent a lot of time researching is still something i love to do. and teaching even a small group is still teaching.eval(ez_write_tag([[300,250],’ispeakpeople_com-box-4′,’ezslot_0′,103,’0′,’0′])); i should also add that you don’t have to be in the presence of others to teach them.
that’s one reason writing is such a great way to harness your knowledge and life experience in order to help others change and grow. if you’d like to start writing and helping others via your words, you don’t have to secure a book contract. it’s a great way to hone your skills and determine what you want to write about. you get to make connections and discern what others are wrestling with using your fast-acting ni and do it in a deep, quiet environment. in the end, we’re people with a variety of interests, and you should consider using all of these skills on a regular basis.
i’m someone who knows what to say but will always end up stuttering and i’m not sure how to deal with it :/ when i took a public speaking class in college, i felt like i was going to die. probably not the best person to give advice on this as it’s something i struggle with as well- but for me it helps to try and just keep your focus on what your speaking about and presenting it as best you can. propanolol got rid of all that bad stuff and i was able to present in a way i didn’t know was possible for me. it can be tricky to do sometimes, but it’s just about understanding what will get my mind to transition into the topic smoothly, and time to recall how i wanted to add in those sub-points.
why doesn’t this society accept me for who the fuck i am and stop whining about how i’m not an extrovert? one time i broke down giving a monologue and it was the most embarrassing moment of my life. the result being, as i’m speaking, i can flow from object to object and they serve as reminders of my talking points. preferably weeks in advance but if you don’t have that kind of time, do it a few hours till the speaking happens. in group presentations, i know there are people who have really grapple with it and i’d rather take on the stress of it than making someone else suffer.
